The New Datsun GO and GO+ Automatic CVT Versions (continuous variable transmission) kinds brings with them improved fuel economy, better power delivery and for the first time in the South African entry-level vehicle segment’s history – ‘the advanced convenience of seamless gear shifting.’
The Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) technology offers better control than traditional automatic transmission technologies, by doing away with the lag during acceleration and the sports mode – yet another first for an automatic transmission in this segment – further improves the overall driving experience.
The new Datsun GO and GO+ CVTs is packed to the hilt with the latest in automotive technology and connectivity and fitted with seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system equipped with voice recognition and Android Auto/Apple Car Play.
Increased power
The new CVT version delivers 57kW of power at 6 000 rpm. That’s 7kW more than the manual transmission version. It is furnished with a 1 198cc three-cylinder engine and offers torque of 104 Nm at 4 400 rpm.

And Datsun predicts the introduction of the Automatic CVT version will serve to build on this success for further growth.
Exciting features
The new Datsun GO and GO+ CVT come with VDC (vehicle dynamic control) safety technology monitors various parameters – like wheel speed, steering wheel position and lateral acceleration. And also including dual airbags, ABS with EBD and BA, reverse parking sensors and follow-me-home headlamps.
The new Datsun GO and GO+ CVT boasts of front and rear power windows, battery saving features, remote key, power steering, 14″ machined Alloy wheels, chrome front grille frame and black main grille.
The new Datsun GO and GO+ CVT is available in a range of exciting colours including Red, Silver, Grey, White, Orange and the new colour Vivid Blue (additionally we have Sandstone Brown for GO+).
